Jeff Bray - Law Enforcement Coordinator

Career

  • Served as a Flight Medic in the U.S. Army from 1991-1997 where he received numerous awards and decorations for his performance as a Flight Medic.
  • Entered law enforcement in 1997 with the Madison Police Department in Madison, GA, where he served as a patrol officer. Jeff went to Walton County Sheriff's Office in 1998 where he served as a patrol officer for two years before being assigned as a K-9 handler.
  • Assigned to the Walton/ Rockdale/Newton Tri-County Task Force as a K-9 handler working street level and highway drug interdiction.
  • Has been assigned to the Sheriff's Emergency Response Team (SWAT) since 1999 where he has served in numerous capacities and is currently the Assistant Commander and primary Training Officer for the Team. Jeff has received numerous commendations and the Commanders Award for his performance on the Team.
  • Has also served as a School Resource Officer and as a Detective.
  • Holds a State certification as a General Instructor with Specialty Instructor Certifications in Firearms, Defensive Tactics, SWAT, TASER and Pepperball. Jeff has trained officers at the local, state and federal level and currently serves as an adjunct instructor at the North East Georgia Police Academy.
